Schedule Change Requests NOW OPEN

Read all of the following carefully:

Schedule Change Window:
Monday, August 10- Friday, August 14th, 2:30PM
We work hard on schedule requests, and there are really important things to keep in mind this year...
  • Once a schedule change has been made it cannot be switched back.
  • Students may submit only 1 schedule change request.
  • Once you make a request you cannot cancel it, or make another.
  • A schedule change request does not mean a schedule can or will be changed.
  • Your other classes or teachers might change in order to work out your request.
  • No teacher requests.
  • We cannot place classes into the order you prefer.
  • We will receive more requests than we can process efficiently.
Students with incomplete schedules have priority. If you are in the wrong course level, or a major program is missing from your schedule (band, athletics, drama, AVID, choir, etc) we will do our best to give you the course if it is logistically possible.

IMPORTANT:
This year, our school is pre-organized to bring students back for in-person classes. When our district is given permission, we will have in-person classes once more. Our school has worked tirelessly to organize our classes and students in such a way that we can bring everyone back according to established protocols. This existing organization now makes changing classes extremely difficult, because we have to maintain return-to-school readiness. Counselors must also consider graduation requirements and A-G requirements for every change request. This year we ask you to only make requests if they are serious and not frivolous.

Parents grades 9-11 are encouraged to attend our counselor lead seminars which help support parents to guide their high school students. Check out the topics for the fall seminars!
